The Canadian Pemphigus and Pemphigoid Foundation is a registered Canadian charity (843646092RR0001) that depends on your financial support to deliver its programs and services.
We are committed to being a strong, transparent and accountable organization. Our Board of Directors carefully scrutinizes all proposed activities making sure that we spend our resources in the areas that will lead to the greatest impact for pemphigus and pemphigoid patients and their families. When you make a donation, you can be assured your privacy is protected. When relevant information is provided, we will acknowledge your donation in writing (letter or email) and always ask your permission to formally acknowledged on our website and in our annual report. We will also ask if you would like to be contacted again with news from the Foundation including our additional fundraising efforts. If you prefer to remain anonymous and not be added to our email distribution list, you simply need to let us know. The acknowledgement letter explains the ways in which you can do this. You should also know that we do not share your contact information with any other organization (See our Privacy Policy.)
We will issue your tax receipt (as does CanadaHelps.org for our online donations) for all amounts - typically within 90 days (and immediately by email if you donated online).
